Ashford's experienced asset management team excels at achieving internal growth. Each hotel's strategic business plan is shaped to coincide with changing lodging or capital market conditions. We implement a variety of value-added operational techniques gained from years of experience across asset type, brand, and geography. As a REIT, Ashford does not directly manage its properties. However, Ashford has strong relationships with its managers that are essential to the implementation of these strategies in day-to-day operations. The relationship we have with our affiliated manager contributes significantly to our market knowledge and capabilities to maximize our performance in asset managing our hotels.

  • We pursue aggressive revenue management to make sure we are striving to gain even greater market share.
  • We minimize operational costs and adjust to changing market demand patterns without compromising the guest experience.
The ultimate goals of these strategies are RevPAR growth, market penetration and margin improvement to increase EBITDA and per share metrics.
